Amitel has been recognised for providing accommodation to young people.
Amitel's Approvals
Article 2 of the French Law on the mobilisation for housing and the combat against social exclusion of 25 March 2009 (Loi MOLLE) has largely reformed the system which approves organisations working to improve housing and accommodation for disadvantaged people.
It defines the status of social housing and social services in French law and the conditions by which the organisations providing this service are approved.
It defines the three main activities of this social service and the three different approvals that exist, all of which AMITEL has been given:
- Project ownership: Ministerial order of 15 July 2011
- Social, financial and technical engineering: Prefectural approval of 9 June 2011
- Rental intermediation and management of social housing: Prefectural approval of 9 June 2011
